• What: The Oceania Challenge is an online tournament to engage our Member Associations in competitive shooting. Entries and results via OSA
  • Results – The results must be entered into ArcheryOSA by 5 pm, Monday, 7th October 2024 (NZL time) so that they can be checked and collated before being sent to the WAO Secretary-General for the placings in each category. All results from Mana Club to be entered by the members into OSA themselves.
  • Use the scorecard available here and please retain in case of an audit. Enter individual results including the X and X+10 count in ArcheryOSA. This can be done at any time. ArcheryOSA will be used to collate the final results. Please do not email the scoresheets for scores entered through ArcheryOSA unless requested.
  • Rounds:
    • For all rounds archers will shoot 5 ends of 6 arrows at each of the three distances on a 122cm face.
    • Short Round (for people shooting Recurve, Compound or Barebow who have been in archery for 12 months or less or have never shot further than 40m): 30 arrows shot from each of the 40m, 30m, 20m distances on a 122cm target face.
    • Barebow & Longbow Round (for everybody else shooting Barebow): 30 arrows shot from each of the 50m, 40m, 30m distances on a 122cm target face.
    • Long Round (for everybody else shooting Recurve and Compound): 30 arrows shot from each of the 60m, 50m, 40m distances on a 122cm target face.
    • This is based on an honour system, and we expect participants to enter the round that applies for them. Clubs are expected to check that their members have entered the correct round.
  • Who: It is open to members, cost $0
  • When: Sunday 29th September , Participants may compete more than once but only one result per person may be submitted (no multiple entries with different bow types or in different age groups).
  • Categories
    • Under 15s (born in 2009 or later): male/female – Recurve, Compound, Barebow, Longbow
    • Under 18s (born in 2006 or later): male/female – Recurve, Compound, Barebow, Longbow
    • Under 21s (born in 2004, 2005, 2006): male/female – Recurve, Compound, Barebow, Longbow
    • Open (born in 2003 to 1973): male/female – Recurve, Compound, Barebow, Longbow
    • 50+ (born in 1974 or earlier): male/female – Recurve, Compound, Barebow, Longbow
